Dan J. Stein

Dan J. Stein was a South African psychiatrist, researcher, and professor at the University of Cape Town, known for his work on anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive spectrum conditions, posttraumatic stress disorder, and psychiatric neuroscience. He also made significant contributions to public mental health, philosophy of psychiatry, and the study of perpetrator psychology in post-apartheid South Africa.
