Dan Dimancescu

Peter Dan Dimancescu (1943–2025) was born in Maidenhead, England, to Romanian parents with a diplomatic background, raised in Morocco, and immigrated to the U.S. in 1956. He pursued diverse careers including journalism with National Geographic expeditions, political science, urban planning, computer cartography, management consulting for Fortune 500 firms, and cultural philanthropy as Romania's Honorary Consul in Boston. He studied at Dartmouth College, Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, and Harvard Business School, and co-founded Kogainon Films with his son.[1][3][2][6][7]
