Damaraju Raghavarao

Damaraju Raghavarao (1938–2013) was an Indian-born statistician renowned for his work in combinatorics and applications of experimental designs. He earned his PhD from Bombay University in 1961, served as a professor at Punjab Agricultural University, and later joined Temple University in 1974 as Laura H. Carnell Professor of Statistics, where he chaired the department twice, authored eight books, published over 135 papers, and supervised 25 PhD students.
