Dale Peck

Dale Peck is an American novelist, critic, and professor born on Long Island and raised in Kansas, best known for works like Martin and John, Hatchet Jobs, Visions and Revisions, and Sprout across various genres including fiction, essays, memoir, and young adult literature. He earned a B.A. from Drew University in 1989 and an MFA from Columbia, was involved in ACT UP AIDS activism in the 1990s, and has taught at The New School's Graduate Writing Program in New York City since 1999. Peck has received awards including two O. Henry Awards, a Pushcart Prize, a Lambda Literary Award, and a Guggenheim Fellowship.
