Dale Brakhage

Stan Brakhage (born James Stanley Brakhage) was an American experimental filmmaker widely regarded as one of the most important figures in avant-garde cinema. Over five decades, he created hundreds of largely silent films that pushed boundaries through techniques such as direct painting on film, fast cutting, scratching, and collage.
