D. Ray Reutzel

D. Ray Reutzel is a prominent literacy educator and author of over 225 research reports, articles, book chapters, and books on reading and early childhood education. He earned his B.A. in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from the University of Wyoming in 1977, M.A. in Reading and Elementary Education from Utah State University in 1980, and Ph.D. in Reading/Language Arts and Elementary Education from the University of Wyoming in 1982.[1][2][3] A member of the Reading Hall of Fame, he has held positions such as Dean of the College of Education at the University of Wyoming and Distinguished Professor at Utah State University, and serves as Executive Editor of the Journal of Educational Research.[1][2]
