D. K. Matthews

D. K. Matthews was a prominent South Sudanese political leader and key figure in the 'Wind of Change' movement in Juba, serving as Minister for Youth and Sports in General Joseph Lagu's cabinet after their electoral victory. He played a significant role in the 1987 reconciliation between the SPLA and Anya Nya Two, subsequently joining the SPLM/A as governor of Upper Nile Region until 1985. Matthews is also an author, with works including 'The Struggle for the Liberation of South Sudan' (biography subject), 'Transparency: Bio-Tech Cavern Secrets Untold', and 'A Theology of Cross and Kingdom'.
