D. J. Moody

D. J. Moody (Daniel J. Moody) was a prominent American politician from Texas, serving as the state's Attorney General and later as its Governor. He was the youngest person to hold the office of Texas Governor and reorganized state prison management and the highway system during his tenure. Moody was also a special assistant to the U.S. Attorney General in the mid-1930s and ran unsuccessfully for a U.S. Senate seat in 1942.
