D E Stevenson
D. E. Stevenson (Dorothy Emily Stevenson) was a prolific Scottish author born in Edinburgh in 1892, known for writing over 40 light romantic novels and engaging stories of manners that explored themes of friendship, family, and love. She was the first cousin of the famous writer Robert Louis Stevenson and achieved international success with works like 'Miss Buncle's Book' and the 'Mrs. Tim' series, selling millions of copies worldwide before passing away in Moffat in 1973.
