D. B. Newton

D.B. Newton (Dwight Bennett Newton) was a prolific American author who wrote over 70 Western novels and numerous short stories for pulp magazines including Lariat Story Magazine and 5 Western Novels Magazine. He also worked as a story consultant for popular television series such as Wagon Train. Newton earned both A.B. and M.A. degrees in History and Political Science from the University of Missouri.
