Cynthia Lennon

Cynthia Lennon (née Powell) was a British artist and author, best known as the first wife of John Lennon, whom she met at Liverpool College of Art in 1957. They married in 1962 after her pregnancy, had son Julian, and divorced in 1968 amid the Beatles' fame; she later authored a memoir about their life together. She passed away in 2015.
