Cynthia Harrod- Eagles
Cynthia Harrod-Eagles, born on 13 August 1948 in Shepherd's Bush, London, England, is a British author known for her historical novels, romance, and mystery series such as the Morland Dynasty and Bill Slider mysteries. She wrote her first novel, The Waiting Game, while at university in 1972, winning the Young Writers’ Award, and later became a full-time writer after various commercial jobs. She has used pseudonyms Emma Woodhouse and Elizabeth Bennett, lives in London with her husband and three children, and enjoys music, horses, wine, and the English countryside.
