C.S. Lewis (Clive Staples Lewis) was an Irish-born scholar, novelist, and Christian apologist whose works include "The Screwtape Letters" and "Mere Christianity." He is best known for "The Chronicles of Narnia," a seven-book fantasy series that became a classic of children's literature and fantasy.
