Craig Stanford

Craig Stanford (born 1956) is an American evolutionary biologist and conservation biologist, serving as Professor of Biological Sciences and Anthropology at the University of Southern California. He is a leading primatologist known for his decades of field research on chimpanzee hunting and meat-eating in East Africa, often collaborating with Jane Goodall, and has authored over 15 books and 120 scholarly articles on animal behavior and human evolution.
