Craig Smith

Craig Smith is a New Zealand children's book author and illustrator born on January 3, 1972, in Clyde, Central Otago. He is best known for his #1 bestseller 'The Wonky Donkey' (2009), a humorous picture book based on a song he wrote. Smith began his writing career at age 31 as a full-time musician, creating stories and songs to entertain his nieces, nephews, and cousins on rainy days.
