Craig Johnson
Craig Allen Johnson (born January 16, 1961) is an American author best known for his New York Times bestselling Sheriff Walt Longmire mystery novel series, set in northern Wyoming's fictional Absaroka County.[1][2] The series, which debuted in 2004, has been adapted into the hit Netflix series Longmire and translated into 14 languages, earning awards like the Western Writers of America Spur Award and the Nouvel Observateur Prix du Roman Noir.[1][2] He lives on a ranch he built himself in Ucross, Wyoming.[1][2]
