Countess De Merlin

Countess De Merlin was the literary pseudonym of María de las Mercedes Santa Cruz y Montalvo, a Cuban-born writer and aristocrat who became a prominent figure in Parisian society in the 19th century. Born in Havana and later based in Paris, she is known for her travel writing, memoirs, and works associated with elite transatlantic cultural life.[1][2][3]
