Connie Roop
Connie Roop (Constance Betzer Roop), born June 18, 1951, in Wisconsin, is an award-winning American author and educator who has co-authored over 100 children's books with her husband Peter Roop, including the Reading Rainbow selection Keep the Lights Burning, Abbie.[1][4][6] A Wisconsin native with a passion for exploration and reading, she has written across genres such as children's fiction, non-fiction, biographies, historical fiction, and science books.[2][4][5][6]
