Colin Maclean

Colin MacLean was a Scottish educator, journalist, and author who worked in education for 40 years, including as a civil servant in the Scottish Government on children, social care, and education issues. He founded and edited The Times Educational Supplement Scotland, earning recognition as a legendary figure in educational journalism. MacLean authored children's books such as Nursery Village and Albert and Albertine at the Seaside, and passed away at the age of 88.
