Colin Escott
Colin Escott, born in England in 1949, is a leading authority on Sun Records and early country music, having first written the company's history in 1975 and revised it multiple times since. He lives near Nashville, Tennessee, and is the author of influential works such as *Good Rockin’ Tonight: Sun Records and the Birth of Rock ‘n’ Roll* and *Hank Williams: The Biography*, the latter adapted into the film *I Saw the Light*. His productions, including *The Complete Hank Williams* which won a Grammy, and *Million Dollar Quartet* which received Tony nominations, highlight his impact on music history.
