Cokie Roberts
Cokie Roberts was a renowned American journalist, political commentator, and bestselling author celebrated for her four-decade career covering U.S. politics across radio, television, and print. She was a pioneering 'Founding Mother' of NPR and later joined ABC News, known for her insightful analysis and advocacy for women's contributions in history and politics. Roberts died on September 17, 2019, at age 75 due to complications from breast cancer.
