Clement Salvadori

Clement Salvadori is a renowned motojournalist and adventure traveler who has ridden motorcycles across six continents and over 70 countries, accumulating more than a million miles. Born in upstate New York to Anglo-Italian parents and raised mainly in Massachusetts, he attended Harvard, served in the US Army Special Forces, worked in Vietnam, and held diplomatic posts before resigning to pursue motorcycle adventures, including a ride to Afghanistan in 1973. Since 1988, he has written the monthly 'Road Tales' column for Rider magazine and authored books like 101 Road Tales and No Thru Road.
