Claudia Mills
Claudia Mills is an American author of over 60 children's books, blending her prolific writing career with her academic background as a philosopher specializing in ethics and children's literature. Born in New York City on August 21, 1954, she earned degrees from Wellesley College, Princeton University, and the University of Maryland, and taught philosophy at the University of Colorado Boulder until her retirement as Associate Professor Emerita in 2014.
