Clara Vulliamy

Clara Vulliamy is a British illustrator and author born in 1962, daughter of renowned children's book author and illustrator Shirley Hughes.[1] She studied Fine Art at Chelsea School of Art, The Ruskin, and The Royal Academy, beginning her career as a portrait painter and magazine illustrator before transitioning to children's books.[2] She is best known for the Dixie O'Day series created with her mother, as well as series including Mango and Bambang, Dotty Detective, and Marshmallow Pie the Cat Superstar.[3]
