Claire Matturro

Claire Hamner Matturro, born in 1954 in Alabama, is an award-winning author of mystery novels who drew on her experiences as a newspaper reporter, attorney, and faculty member at Florida State University College of Law. She created the popular Lilly Belle Cleary mystery series, with her debut Skinny-Dipping earning a Romantic Times Best First Mystery award and a Barry Award nomination. Other honors include the Romantic Times Toby Bromberg Award for Most Humorous Mystery for Sweetheart Deal and a Georgia Writer of the Year nomination for Wildcat Wine.
