Claire MacDonald
Claire, Lady Macdonald OBE is a Scottish cookery writer and former hotelier who co-founded the Michelin-starred Kinloch Lodge hotel on the Isle of Skye.[3][4] She has authored nearly twenty best-selling cookery books, including Seasonal Cooking and The Harrods Book of Entertaining, and is a patron of Scottish Food Fortnight and The Association of Scottish Farmers’ Markets.[1][5] In recognition of her contributions to Scottish food, she received a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2011 and an honorary doctorate from Abertay University.[1][3]
