Claire Goldstein

Claire Goldstein is a professor of French and Italian at the University of California, Davis, where she joined the faculty in 2013 after teaching at Miami University in Ohio. Her scholarship focuses on early modern French literature and culture, including the cultural history of comets in seventeenth-century France and their appearance across literature, theater, journalism, theology, and architecture.
