Chuck Dixon

Chuck Dixon is an American comic book writer from Philadelphia, recognized as one of the most prolific in the industry with thousands of titles, including record runs on DC's Batman, Detective Comics, Nightwing, and Robin in the 1990s. He co-created the villain Bane with Graham Nolan and the team Birds of Prey, and has written extensively for Marvel's Punisher, as well as adaptations like The Hobbit and novels such as the SEAL Team 6 and Bad Times series. Based in Tampa, Florida, he continues working on novels and G.I. Joe stories for IDW Publishing.
