Chros McDougall
Christopher McDougall (born 1962) is an American author and journalist best known for his 2009 bestseller *Born to Run: A Hidden Tribe, Superathletes, and the Greatest Race the World Has Never Seen*, which popularized barefoot running and explored ultramarathon running among the Tarahumara people. He began his career as a foreign correspondent for the Associated Press, covering wars in Rwanda, Angola, and Congo, before writing other books like *Natural Born Heroes* (2015) and *Running with Sherman*. He has contributed to publications such as *Esquire*, *The New York Times Magazine*, and *Outside*, and lives in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.[1][2][4][7]
