Christopher Rawson

Christopher Comstock Hart Rawson is a retired English professor who joined the University of Pittsburgh's English Department in 1968 and served for exactly 50 years until his retirement in 2018. He specialized in early 18th century British literature and frequently taught satire, Shakespeare, and the works of August Wilson. Since 2001, he has produced the annual musical *Off the Record*, a satirical work about Pittsburgh news and newsmakers that benefits the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.
