Christopher Partridge

Christopher Hugh Partridge (born 1961) is a British author, professor of Religious Studies at Lancaster University, and founding Co-director of the Centre for the Study of Religion and Popular Culture. His research focuses on cultural history, theory, Western occult thought, drug cultures, popular music, and countercultures, with influential books including 'The Re-Enchantment of the West' and 'The Lyre of Orpheus'.
