Christopher M A Brett
Christopher Michael Ashton Brett is a full professor of chemistry at the University of Coimbra, Portugal, specializing in electrochemistry, materials, corrosion, and chemical sensors. He earned his MA and DPhil from the University of Oxford, worked briefly at British Petroleum in London, and joined the University of Coimbra in 1981. He has held prominent leadership roles, including President of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) 2020-2021, President of the International Society of Electrochemistry (ISE) 2007-2008, and authored over 320 research articles, 22 book chapters, and 3 books.[2][7]
