Chris Thaiss is a Professor Emeritus of Writing Studies at the University of California, Davis, with extensive experience in Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) program administration, having directed programs at George Mason University and coordinating the International Network of WAC Programs. He has published extensively on writing in the disciplines and co-authored works such as 'Engaged Writers and Dynamic Disciplines' with Therese Zawacki, who is also a collaborator in writing research and professional development.[1][2][4][5]
