Christo
Christo (born Christo Vladimirov Javacheff) was a Bulgarian-American artist, best known for his large-scale, ephemeral environmental installations, often created in collaboration with his wife, Jeanne-Claude. Their works involved wrapping public buildings, monuments, and landscapes in fabric, transforming familiar spaces into temporary works of art that challenged perceptions of beauty and public space.
