Christine Jordan

Christine Jordan is a British author born into a Yorkshire mining community, who left school at sixteen and worked diverse jobs including catering, potato picking, teaching English in Greece, and running a pub before earning degrees in Sociology and an MBA. She has written non-fiction history books about Gloucester since 2009, historical fiction, YA/children's books set in Gloucester, and thrillers under the pen name CJ Claxton, with her debut thriller Misper marking her entry into the genre. She lives in Gloucester and was recently signed with a New York literary agent for a historical fiction trilogy about the medieval Jewish community there.
