Christina Fisanick (Editor)
Christina Fisanick, PhD, is a Professor of English at Pennsylvania Western University (PennWest), teaching writing, literature, digital storytelling, and creative nonfiction since 1996, and is an internationally recognized expert in digital storytelling and public history.[1][2][5] A native of Moundsville, West Virginia, she graduated magna cum laude from West Liberty University in 1996 and earned master's and doctoral degrees in English from Ohio University; her creative and scholarly work explores themes of labor, resilience, and identity in working-class communities.[1][6] She is the author or editor of more than 30 books, including *Pulling the Thread: Untangling Wheeling History* (2024) and *Digital Storytelling as Public History: A Guidebook for Educators* (2020).[1][4]
