Christiane Northrup, MD

Christiane Northrup, MD, is a former board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist, author, and speaker known for promoting women's health integrating mind, body, emotions, and spirit. She graduated from Dartmouth Medical School in 1975, completed her residency at Tufts New England Medical Center, and co-founded the Women to Women practice in Yarmouth, Maine in 1996, retiring from clinical practice in 1999 to focus on writing and speaking. She voluntarily withdrew her medical license in 2015 and has been criticized for promoting pseudoscientific alternative medicine and anti-vaccine views.[1][2][9]
