Christiaan J. A. Jorg

Christiaan J.A. Jörg (born 1944) is a Dutch art historian and expert on East Asian ceramics, serving as Professor Emeritus at Leiden University and Curator of Decorative Arts at the Groninger Museum from 1977 to 2003. He has authored numerous books and catalogs on Chinese porcelain, including 'Famille Verte' and works on porcelain from the Vung Tau wreck. In 2024, the Groninger Museum honored his 80th birthday and 40 years of contributions with an international symposium.
