Chris Therien

Christopher Bowie Therien (born December 14, 1971) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman who played eleven seasons in the NHL with the Philadelphia Flyers and Dallas Stars from 1995 to 2006.[1][2] After retiring, he worked as a broadcaster for NBC Sports Philadelphia, including as lead analyst for Flyers pregame and postgame shows, until 2022, and is now the lead commentator for Ice Wars International.[1][3] Therien is also co-owner of Limitless Recovery Center in Philadelphia, authored the autobiography *Chris Therien: Road to Redemption* in 2022, and has maintained sobriety for over a decade.[1][3][7]
