Chouette Publishing
Chouette Publishing is a Canadian children's book publisher founded in 1987 by Christine L’Heureux with the innovative mission to create high-quality books for children aged 0 to 6, inspired by the work of French pediatric psychoanalyst Françoise Dolto. L’Heureux also instigated the creation of the popular Caillou character in 1989, illustrated by Hélène Desputeaux, to help children identify emotionally with reading. In 2016, the company expanded with a new division for books aimed at children up to age 10.
