Chongko Choi

Chongko Choi is a South Korean legal scholar and professor emeritus at Seoul National University College of Law, where he taught for 32 years before retiring. Born in Sangju, South Korea in 1947, he earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Freiburg University in Germany in 1979 and has been a visiting professor at prestigious institutions including UC Berkeley and Harvard University. A prolific author with over 75 books to his credit, his scholarly work focuses on East Asian jurisprudence, Korean legal history, and comparative law.
