Chol-hwan Kang ,
Chol-hwan Kang is a North Korean defector, journalist, and author who survived ten years in the Yodok concentration camp before escaping to South Korea in 1992. He is best known for his memoir 'The Aquariums of Pyongyang,' the first survivor account of North Korea's gulag system, and currently serves as the founder and president of the North Korea Strategy Center.
