Chester Croker

Chester Arthur Crocker is an American diplomat and scholar who served as U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs from 1981 to 1989 under President Ronald Reagan. He is also a professor of strategic studies at Georgetown University and is known for shaping U.S. policy toward southern Africa, including Namibia's independence process.
