Cheryl Farr Leas

Cheryl Farr Leas is a travel writer known for her work on Hawaii guides, including editing Frommer’s Hawaii travel guides as senior editor at Macmillan Travel (now Wiley) during the 1990s. A self-described 'Hawaii girl at heart,' she fell in love with the islands, particularly Diamond Head, aloha wear, and mai tais, in 1994 and has lived there periodically. She currently resides in Phoenix, Arizona, with her husband Rob and their German Shepherd, Caleb, where they enjoy hiking desert mountains.
