Cher Threinen-Pendarvis is a San Francisco-born artist, board builder, and surfing historian known for creating educational books that combine art and technology, including 'The Painter Wow! Book.' She is recognized for her work in digital art education and for restoring vintage surfboards, having ridden her first wave on Florida's Gulf Coast in 1964.
