Charles Whiting
Charles Henry Whiting (18 December 1926 – 24 July 2007) was a British writer and military historian who authored over 350 books of fiction and non-fiction under his own name and various pseudonyms including Leo Kessler and Duncan Harding[1][2]. Born in York, England, he enlisted in the British Army at age 16 during World War II, later becoming one of England's best-selling authors known for his extensive works on military themes[1][4].
