Charles WATERMAN

Charles E. Waterman (1868–) was a native Mainer and journalist who worked for several newspapers including the Oxford Democrat and Boston Herald before becoming an author of children's literature, non-fiction, and short stories. He lived in various Maine towns including Oxford, Paris Hill, Norway, and Mechanic Falls, and published works such as Carib Queens (1932) and Apiatia: Little Essays on Honey-Makers (1933).
