Charles Walter Kinloch
Charles Walter Kinloch (1810–1893) was a British civil servant in India who served as a judge in Bengal and later wrote travel and historical works about the East, including *De Zieke Reiziger: or, Rambles in Java and the Straits* and *The Mutinies in the Bengal Army*. He also published two novels, *Robert Grierson* and *Leonard Scott*, after returning to England.
