Charles Templeton

Charles Bradley Templeton (1915-2001) was a Canadian evangelist in the 1940s and 1950s who befriended Billy Graham and led massive rallies, but later became an agnostic due to doubts about Christianity, publicly declaring so in 1957. He then pursued careers in journalism, broadcasting, and writing, authoring books like *Farewell to God* (1996) and novels such as *The Kidnapping of the President* (1975). He died from Alzheimer's disease after a distinguished career shift from faith to skepticism.[2][1][4]
