Charles R Tuttle

Charles Richard Tuttle (1848-1918) was a Canadian journalist and author born in Wallace, Nova Scotia. He worked as a school teacher and journalist before founding the Winnipeg Daily Times in 1879, authored historical works like Tuttle’s Popular History of the Dominion of Canada (1877) and Our North Land (1885), and later moved to Chicago to write on American local history.[1][2]
